Lilac Door Massage is the St. Petersburg, Florida studio of Rachel Garcia, LMT, who specializes in Chavutti Thirumal, a South Indian style of barefoot massage that helps athletes and active adults recover faster and move better. She works with pickleball players, martial artists, dancers, and yoga practitioners from her studio inside the Alternative Therapy Center in the Old Northeast neighborhood. Her approach combines more than 20 years of bodywork experience, a kinesiology degree from the University of Michigan, and training in yoga and Ayurveda, including direct study of the Chavutti lineage in Mysore, India. Sessions are by appointment only, with no walk-ins, and pricing is all inclusive with no tipping.
