Description
The Beer City Open is an annual tournament held each July at Belknap Park in Grand Rapids, Michigan, hosted by the Grand Rapids Pickleball Club, with the 2026 edition held July 7 to 12. The event is a USA Pickleball sanctioned Golden Ticket tournament, so medalists earn qualification toward the National Championships, and registration runs through a lottery that opens in April. The tournament also hosts Major League Pickleball’s Mid Season Tournament, bringing all of the league’s professional teams to the same site. An indoor backup facility at Grand Rapids Racquet and Fitness Club is used if weather interferes.
