Description
The Austin Tennis and Pickleball Center offers eight lighted outdoor pickleball courts with permanent nets, the largest dedicated public pickleball setup in the City of Austin system, located at Walnut Creek Sports Park on Johnny Morris Road in northeast Austin. Open play runs seven days a week from 7 am to 10 pm per Austin Parks and Recreation, with the staffed center operating Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 10 pm and weekends 8:30 am to 9 pm; courts are reservable through the center’s operator, and the lights keep games going past dark, a real asset in Texas summers. City court rules apply: first-come play, 60-minute limits when others wait, and no monopolizing courts. Lessons and organized programming run through the center. The permanent nets mean players just show up with paddles and balls.
