Accel Digital Sports is the sports products brand of Accel Digital Solutions, an additive manufacturing company in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Its sole product line is the DigiPro pickleball series, sold in two editions, the original DigiPro 3.0 and the DigiPro 3.1 Fast-Play.
The balls are produced with HP Multi Jet Fusion, an industrial powder-bed 3D printing process, using PA 12 nylon. Printing lets the company build internal lattice structures that injection or roto molding cannot produce, and every ball is made from the same digital file, which the company says keeps tolerances identical from ball to ball.
The lattice construction is the basis for the product’s two main claims. The company states the ball is roughly 20 times more durable than traditional pickleballs, and that the lattice softens the sharp impact crack into a quieter click, which earned the ball USA Pickleball’s Quiet Play approval. It states rebound stays within the regulation 30 to 34 inch range, with consistent play indoors and outdoors across surfaces and temperatures. It markets the ball to HOAs, communities with noise restrictions, and early morning or late night play.
Sales are direct through the site, with an entry level 3-ball set and larger packs in the catalog. Bulk and team orders, including custom colors for clubs, HOAs, and tournaments, are handled through the contact form.
