I just had trigger finger release surgery on March 25, 2026 at OrthoCarolina in the capable hands of Gregory Pereira, MD. Dr. Pereira and his assistant made me feel at ease pre surgery. Every step of the procedure was explained to me beforehand and during the actual surgery. He has a way about him that is neither clinical nor arrogant. He is very compassionate and empathetic and takes pleasure in answering questions from the patient…attributes that seem to be missing in many doctors these days. I highly recommend Dr. Pereira. The combination of his professionalism/expertise combined with his warm bedside manner is sure to make any patient feel comfortable and confident that OrthoCarolina is providing exemplary care. I look forward to a full recovery.

I have had a great experience with Dr. Periera. He is kind. Knowledgeable and takes him time to make sure all your questions are answered. I would not hesitate to go back to him if the need arises

Friendly and welcoming staff who quickly yet thoroughly assessed my back issue. They didn’t dawdle in getting me a treatment plan, either. Efficient and effective care is what I can always expect from OrthoCarolina.

Dr. Pereira is amazing! He’s very personable he tells you things in plain language that is easy to understand and after doing both of my hands, I would recommend him to everyone!!!
