Crush Yard Charleston offers eight indoor, climate-controlled pickleball courts, dedicated with permanent lines and nets and reservable online, with open play, leagues, tournaments, classes, and lessons from a pro staff led by a dedicated pickleball director. The flagship of the Crush Yard brand opened in September 2023 in a 38,773 square foot building in Mount Pleasant, pairing the courts with a two-level, 350-seat restaurant of elevated Southern pub fare, 36 self-pour beer taps, an arcade, shuffleboard, cornhole, and a mezzanine overlooking center court. Early mornings from 6 to 10 am are reserved for passholders, with a $9 drop-in option for everyone else; the rest of the day is open to the public with hourly court rentals. Glow pickleball parties and trivia nights fill the weekly calendar.
They turned this into a nice looking place.i love the history of pickleball on the wall-learned a lot.if you have a group y'all can split the bill.and you pay for a time slot.check out there weakly deals .plenty of space and games: ping pong tables Ice hockey giant uno, many other games Certain things like Paddles ,and bean bags need to be asked for at the front desk. Arcade games need a card to be purchased at there machine.
We hosted The Palm Classic — a charity sports festival benefiting our nonprofit recovery residence — at Crush Yard and I can't say enough about this place. Roughly 250 people came through over six hours: every court full, a dunk tank out front, families everywhere, and a Southern buffet that kept 250 people fed all afternoon without ever looking picked over. What sets Crush Yard apart is the people. Kaely and the events team walked us through months of planning like partners, not vendors — every question answered, every curveball handled, right down to same-day flexibility on food when we asked about contingencies. David and Matt and Kim and EVERYONE went above and beyond in ways they didn't have to, and it showed in how smooth the day ran. The venue itself is perfect for a big event: indoor courts out of the July heat, great screens throughout for our sponsors, plenty of room to spread out, and food and drinks that genuinely impressed our guests. If you're considering Crush Yard for a fundraiser, corporate event, or party — book it. They helped a first-year charity event feel like it had been running for a decade. We'll be back for The Palm Classic 2027.
If you haven't had the pleasure, make sure you check out Crush Yard! I just held an event there (car bash and backpack drive) and it was wonderful! The space was perfect to include both inside and outside patio, the staff was kind & professional, and they bent over backwards to help make it a great time for my guests. Nothing but rave reviews about the food as well from those who attended. Pickleball is just one thing they have...check them out for any number of things you might be looking to do. You won't be disappointed!
We hosted a meeting for our local project managers group here and had a blast! Food was great. They set us up with a table right next to the court, which was perfect so we could watch and eat while others played. There was plenty of comfortable seating right there for our members as well. Communication for scheduling and details was a breeze! Thanks for all your help, Kaely and Cheyenne! We hope to return again next year.
Went for the first time for my daughters 7th birthday.. not really knowing what to expect it surpassed our expectations. It was during the week and they had a large school group and managed to not allow it to interfere with our service. The food was better than expected and all of the staff was friendly, helpful, and showered her with happy birthdays. She felt special and for that we will be back! I will note that many of the games were not able to be played since missing the balls.... the skeet and the pong specifically.
