Los Angeles Magazine named it Best Tennis Shop in L.A., and Racquet Magazine called it a candy store for tennis players. The Atwater Village store carries paddles, court shoes, and apparel for pickleball alongside its deep tennis, squash, racquetball, and badminton inventory, spanning brands like Wilson, Babolat, Head, Yonex, and Gamma, with the region’s only local while-you-wait stringing, regripping, and handle enlargement service. Paradise for tennis players. Staff is unbelievably knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I've been playing tennis at a high level for almost 50 years and these guys still know stuff about racquets, strings, shoes, etc. that I don't. If you're serious about tennis or just want to get into the game, this is the place to go. Don't go to DSG. Racket Doctor has better prices, selection and service to help irrespective of your level. Access the new location through the parking lot, not the building entrance with the street numbers.

★★★★★

Helpful staff through my whole experience Educational approach without being condescending They also have a racket trial program for $10 that I would highly recommend to anyone picking up a racket for the first time.

I'm not a tennis player, but they made me feel welcome here. I needed to get a racket restrung for my wife as a gift. The guy at the counter really knew his stuff, asked a lot of detailed questions to make sure he got everything right. Quick service, clear communication, expertise. I'll come back again soon.

The best tennis store in LA. Drop off your racquet for stringing and get it back in ~1 hour. Usually just go eat lunch while I wait. Good selection of racquets and balls. Some apparel. Free 2 hour parking behind the shop. Lovely staff! Support your local tennis shop 🎾
